KADFA A.G.M. 2021

Dear Member

Further to the email sent to members on the 26th February, the Committee had a meeting on Zoom to discuss the A.G.M.

It was hoped to hold the delayed A.G.M. prior to a walk on Thursday, 22nd April, but, as we need 10 members to attend to form a quorum, this will not be possible as we believe the limit will still be a maximum of six people meeting together outdoors.

We are, therefore, proposing to hold the meeting on Zoom at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 21st April, 2021.

Could you please let Glenis know a.s.a.p.

  1.  Are you on Zoom or likely to be by April 21st? (Pippa is willing to assist any new user)

  1.  Would you be willing to attend the virtual AGM? (Remember we still need to be sure of a quorum of 10 members). The meeting is likely to be very short and, in fact, will be terminated automatically by Zoom after 30 minutes.

You will have received the email re the election of officers and committee, so I am attaching the reports I have received from Lucy, myself and Geoff for your further information.

We hope that you are keeping well and safe.

KADFA Committee

March 2021

We are still hoping, if we are allowed, to resume group walks (limited to 6 per group), from Thursday, 1st April.  We will be in touch regarding rules and booking arrangements nearer the date.

Subs due from the 1st of February.
Hopefully we will be walking again sometime in the spring so I can collect this years subs on walks as usual. We have finished the year with a reasonable bank balance which is covering our small annual loss and therefore subs continue to be the princely  sum of £5.00 pp.  For those members who wish to avoid falling into debt and running the risk of being mentioned in despatches as late payers  I can accept cheques or cash through the post or letter box. If you send me an email I can also let you have our bank details for a bank transfer!!. Take Care All and let's hope thing get back to "normal" during 2021!!
